Flights. Srinagar airport has limited or no scheduled international service, so most foreign guests connect through Delhi on a domestic flight. We can meet you at the airport with a name board and a private cab to the ghat.
Government advice and insurance. Several governments advise against travel to Jammu and Kashmir. The US State Department advisory lists it at Level 4, and the UK FCDO travel advice also advises against travel there. India’s government and the J&K administration invite tourists. Your insurance may be invalid if you travel against your own government’s advice, so ask your insurer in writing.
Winter for overseas guests. Guests from the Gulf and Southeast Asia often come in December and January for their first snow, but no honest operator can promise snow on a fixed date.
